All Things Hospital Bag

I still can't believe that I'm already 32 weeks pregnant and approximately 51 days away from my due date. Like most mamas, I suffer from anxiety when I feel I am not organized or have things prepared. Which leads me to todays blog post - the hospital bag.

The biggest item on the list of course is the actual hospital bag. Our friends at TwelveLittle just came out with the most beautiful new collection which includes their Peek-a-Boo Satchel Bag in black. This bag is so versatile and comes in an array of colors. The best part, for me, is that you can use it as your diaper bag later on! (Don't forget to use code: 12LITTLE20 for 20% off )

Some features of the bag include:

  • Made with lightweight, water-resistant nylon exterior fabric and interior lining trimmed with vegan leather.

  • Two front bottle pockets.

  • Front mag snap wipe pocket with opening for wipe pouch (included); Can also be used as a regular pocket by moving the center mag snap divider.

  • Multiple exterior and interior pockets for maximum organization.

  • Vegan-leather top handles and a padded long webbing strap.

  • Complimentary machine-washable diaper pad.Complimentary clear wipe pouch for baby wipes.

  • Free of harsh chemicals such as PVC.

  • Spot cleaning recommended. Dry clean only when necessary.

Lastly, I made a hospital bag list to make sure I didn't forget anything. I will be using BLOP bags to keep my toiletries and small items like chargers and hair ties nice and organized. I did add some space on the list for mamas to put extra items they feel they need or use. July 7, 2021 Update __________________________________________

I thought when I was pregnant with Avery it would be the last time I would be putting together a hospital bag for a delivery - SURPRISE! At 36 weeks pregnant with Baby Alec Javier, round three is set in motion.

Due to the current state of the pandemic, I'm keeping things simple and adding masks for Javi and myself in the bag. Other than that, I'm really keeping it all the same. We won't be allowed any visitors, which I'm a little bummed out, but I am so happy Javi will be able to be with me during delivery.

Below I added links to the items I packed for Alec and I. Make sure to check out my little reel via IG. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CRCYeVOHfHK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
