Avery Eats - Yumi

A couple of weeks ago, I shared a new segment called Baby Eats. The segment consisted of my journey with starting Avery on solids. I shared how I was making her food, what I was feeding her and how she was liking her new yummies. For the exception of strawberries and apricot, she really does love her food!

What is Yumi?

But as always, Maddy and I like to give options, that's where Yumi comes in. What is so unique about Yumi is that their menu changes every week and with the seasons. They have 100+ superfoods and spices from around the world. Their baby food is all Organic, with no synthetics, never fortified, no additives and no concentrates. Their focus is offering food that helps your little ones development. Did you know that 60% of your baby's caloric intake is used for brain development? That's why Yumi has designed their meals to be rich in vitamins and minerals like Lutein, Selenium, Choline and Iron. Yumi, for me, gave me piece of mind in giving Avery all ready made food.

So how does it work?

Step 1: Their nutritionist will recommend the perfect plan to suit your babe's developmental needs.

Step 2: Let them know how many times per day you’d like to serve Yumi. Sit back while they cook.

Step 3: Starting at $5 per day. You can edit or cancel anytime! (It is delivered weekly)

Texture and Consistency?

Since we are in the first stage, the food is mashed so there are no large pieces. She has tried the following from Yumi: zucchini, strawberries, blueberries, cauliflower, white bean, apricot, and spinach. As you can tell, she's loving it!
