Last week, Sofia and I were invited to visit Duck Donuts in East Cobb, GA, before their grand opening this past weekend. Duck Donuts is known for serving warm, delicious, made to order donuts. Plus, customers can also enjoy a variety of other favorites from coffee to donut breakfast sandwiches, ice cream sundaes and more!
The East Cobb location is the fourth store in Georgia and what we love about is is that its a family owned franchise. We were able to meet owners, Christine and Andrew ( a mother and son duo) who welcomed us and showed us behind the scenes, teaching us exactly how they make and top every donut they sell.
Donuts are made fresh to order 7 days a week and Duck Donuts is available across the U.S! Best of all, they offer catering for special events and fundraising opportunities for local schools. As a company, they really go above and beyond for the community. During our visit, we learned that Duck Donuts corporate has an amazing program called Quack Gives Back, where they partner with Gabe's Chemo Duck Program, providing education, comfort and hope through stuffed ducks, medical play and therapeutic tools. We will definitely be back again to try more delicious donuts and support a great business. However, here is a fun tip they shared with us - Duck Donuts always offers their classic donuts but have a seasonal menu that changes every few months. YUM!!
